Didn't know where else to put this, so figured this would be a great place. I have always been a huge fan of the story of Job, but over the recent past, I have been given a deeper insight into an important facet of Job...
Do you realize that EVERY thing that Satan was allowed to bring against Job, he was required to take before the throne of Grace?? He had to ask permission of our Abba, Daddy, for each and everything he wanted to bring against Job, it required him to petition God, Jehovah, Himself...
Consider that God knows us even better than we could ever know ourselves, and that each and every trial and temptation He allow into our lives is for our betterment and strengthening. Further, knowing us intimately, and NOT wanting to see us fail, He, Himself, chooses what is allowed to afflict and confront our lives!!!
How wonderous a God and Savior do we worship that He should take that deep of an interest, and that level of protection for us. There is NOTHING that we ever have, are now or ever will face, that He, God Almighty, has not allowed and permitted!!!
God will never allow us to be faced or confronted with more than we are able to overcome. Provided that we rely on Him and His strength, we Will be overcomers!!!! Lean on the everlasting arms of our precious Savior, and we will overcome ALL the devices of the enemy...
My precious friends, remember to trust not in your own understanding, but lean on the immovable presence of our Savior, He will pull us through everything that we will ever face...
