Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
what an interesting correlation between being acceptable and who is our strength and redeemer... It is only in the strength of our Lord that we find the ability, let alone the desire, to be acceptable... We must always evaluate and judge our own words and hearts... It should be our goal and prayer, everyday, to be a living example and ambassador for our Lord and Saviour... Let us strive to maintain our hearts, and to keep guard over our words, that we may always be acceptable in HIS sight... And remember the admonition of the Psalmist in another place, we are given a beautiful insight into how exactly to accomplish this very thing...
Psa 119:11 I have hidden Your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
Be blessed and let your words be sweet, for tomorrow you may have to taste from them again...
