Mat 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."
Faith is the power of prayer. Just simply ask, in genuine belief, and you will receive. It may not be today or tomorrow, but God is faithful.
----
2Co 1:11 You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.
Prayer is effective.
---
Mat 18:19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them."
How much more powerful is prayer together? Just share a portion of your heart with another to have him understand and with the same heart you can pray and receive.
---
1Pe 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
This is not to say that God will answer every whim of ours. He only answer within his own boundaries. Any prayer made within them will be considered, and he'll answer according to his will in the Bible.
---
The point is we must pray. It is a fundamental of Christianity and one of the most effective practices of our faith. We must pray continuously. We are commanded to pray pray pray.
Col 4:2, Php 4:6, Eph 6:18, Rom 12:12, and, which is the summary of all I've listed and said, 1Th 5:17 "pray without ceasing,".
Just imagine what marvelous things could occur if we ceased what we are not commanded to incessantly do and never cease to seriously pray?
